New season, new coffee culture: Jacobs brings its heritage into the iced coffee era
Spring is here, the days are getting warmer and the coffee ritual is getting a little cooler. Jacobs is bringing its long-standing coffee heritage into a new generation of coffee occasions with the launch of Jacobs Ice Presso Latte and Jacobs Ice Presso Classic.
Ready to drink, chilled and made for life on the go, the new range gives coffee lovers another way to enjoy Jacobs – whether that means grabbing one on the way to campus, taking it along for the commute, meeting friends or simply switching up the usual coffee break.
The launch comes at a time when coffee culture is becoming less about one traditional cup and more about how, where and when people choose to enjoy it. For younger consumers in particular, coffee has become part of the rhythm of everyday life – a pick-me-up between plans, a social gathering, or simply something to reach for when the mood calls for it.
“Coffee has a rich heritage, but the way we enjoy it doesn't have to stay the same,” says Domaine Rautenbach, Senior Brand Manager at Jacobs. “Jacobs Ice Presso is about bringing that heritage into the here and now – giving consumers a chilled, convenient way to enjoy the coffee they know, but in a format that fits how they live today.”
Available in two variants, Jacobs Ice Presso Latte and Jacobs Ice Presso Classic, the range brings a sweet, milky iced coffee experience into a ready-to-enjoy format.
For Jacobs, the move into ready-to-drink coffee is less about changing what coffee means and more about creating new ways to enjoy it.
“Our heritage gives us a strong foundation, but innovation is what keeps a brand relevant. We want Jacobs to be part of the coffee moments that matter to consumers now, not only the ones we've always known,” says Rautenbach.
