Get your Marshmallow Easter Eggs fix at Game

Game recently partnered with some bloggers to produce this pretty sweet content on how they eat their marshmallow eggs and wanted to find out by the rest of South Africa what would be the best way to eat the popular marshmallow sweet treat.

South Africans have had quite strong opinions on how to eat marshmallow eggs, and which way is best. From dunking them into tea or freezing them so they can slowly pick the chocolate off, or nuking them in the microwave.

In previous years, Game has found that its marshmallow Easter eggs are a very popular item. Many consumers make sure these delicious, sweet treats are a firm feature on their shopping lists over this holiday period.

Having spoken to some key bloggers and influencers who appeal to the Game customer, it came about that many people have a variety of ways that they like to eat their marshmallow eggs.

From freezing them for an extra chocolate crack to picking off each layer right down to the ‘yolk’ and of course, those who incorporate them into larger recipes, it became clear that everyone has a different way to make this firm favourite their own.

For Vice President of Marketing at Game, Katherine Madley, she incorporates her marshmallow eggs into a chocolate drink.  “I enjoy a very hot Milo drink and my husband asks me every night ‘Can I make you a volcanic?’ It’s our term for my Milo’s as I like them so hot.

"When Easter comes around and I can get my marshmallow eggs from Game, I break them up into pieces and put them on top of the drink. They melt fast and form a beautiful pattern on top of the hot drink. It is absolutely delicious!” Madley told Guzzle.
