Huawei launches an online store for SA

CAPE TOWN – Huawei on Wednesday at the South African launch of the P30 series in Johannesburg announced that it has launched an officially-licensed Huawei Store in the country.

At the launch, Huawei South Africa CTO Akhram Mohamed explained that the new Huawei Store offers a wide selection of Huawei hardware, allowing smartphone owners to buy devices, cases, headphones, wearables, and more directly from the online storefront.

Mohamed said that all Huawei hardware available in South Africa will be listed for purchase on the store, provided it is in stock and not end-of-life.

According to Huawei, the e-commerce platform is a licensed reseller in created thanks to a partnership with Mustek Limited, and is not operated directly by Huawei South Africa.

There will also be various special promotions and unique offers available exclusively on the Huawei store.

Huawei also noted that  Huawei Pay will be coming to South Africa by the middle of 2019, offering another competitive payment platform.
