The unprecedented events of the last week have brought about unimaginable destruction and damage which has impacted the safety, security and livelihoods of so many innocent individuals and businesses.

The JD Group brands such as Russells, Everyshop, Bradlows, Rochester, Sleepmasters, HiFi Corp and Incredible Connection stated that their thoughts are with each and every person impacted by these events.

The company added that it sincerely hopes that calm will be quickly be restored and that it will be able to join hands as communities and South Africans to commence the rebuilding process.

"Unfortunately, we have seen significant damage to a number of our stores and partner facilities and it will take some time to rebuild and restock. For now, our first priority is to ensure that our team and their families in the affected areas are safe," said the company in a statement.

The company noted that it is committed to working day and night to ensure that we are up and running as soon as possible in the affected stores.

We are working closely with our logistics and couriers partners to ensure we are able to get the goods to you as soon as is humanly possible and that normal lead times are reestablished in affected areas as soon as the situation allows," said The JD Group.
