KFC Introduces Unique Coffee Blends: A Flavorful Delight!

In South Africa, where a rich coffee culture prevails, you might not immediately think of your favourite chicken restaurant as a go-to for excellent coffee.

However, KFC, known for its obsession with taste, is changing that perception. The beloved quick-service chicken brand is now introducing a bold new coffee taste that aligns perfectly with its commitment to exceptional flavours.

“We know that the rumour mill has suggested that we were changing our recipe, and we are excited to confirm that there is some truth in this. KFC is world-famous for its secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices, so while we would never tamper with our original recipe, we are happy to announce a bold new taste joining our team,” says Nic Duminy, marketing director for KFC South Africa.

“We’ve launched our new and improved coffee recipe to provide consumers with a richer and more rounded flavour. It’s a formulation that we are confident will provide our customers with an improved taste experience – one that is stronger and bolder, which is what you would expect from KFC.”

To celebrate the launch, KFC is inviting customers to bring their empty coffee cups from any brand or brew to participating locations on January 19. In return, they will receive a complimentary tall cappuccino – a delightful upgrade that showcases KFC's confidence in its exciting new coffee offering.

According to Duminy, the mind behind this initiative, "We can't wait for consumers to experience the bold new taste that took everyone by surprise."

KFC is not just a chicken destination; it's now a destination for great coffee too.
