Local South African businesses that will be having Black Friday specials

Black Friday is the biggest shopping event of the year. With more South Africans participating in this tradition, one should consider how shopping locally could be more beneficial than buying imported products.

Small businesses are a powerful backbone of the economy and although not all their goods may be mass-produced, they are often skillfully and uniquely created.

We here at Guzzle have created a list of local businesses that are having Black Friday specials this year.

Here is a list:

1. Swiitch Beauty

Makeup and skincare brand Swiitch beauty announced that it will make all products under R130 for an entire week starting Thursday the 25th at 5PM.

Their products that are also on sale at the weare_egg store in Cavendish, Cape Town will also have their products on special.

2. Baked Collection

The clothing brand owned by influencer Aisha Baker, called Baked Collection will be having a Black Friday sale valid from the 25th of November until the 29th of November.

Customers can look forward to deals of up to 60% off.

3. Lelive

Lelive, a skincare brand owned by Swazi- South African Actor Amanda Du-Pount announced that it will be giving all its shoppers on their site 30% off all products. The brand added that it will also be giving away a complimentary black satin scrunchie with each order.

4. Breys Meat Market

Breys Meat market announced that it will be having a Black Friday Sale.

Deals will be valid from the 23 November- 27 November 2021. While stocks last.

5. Afrobotonics

Personal care and beauty brand Afrobotonics has already started having items on sale on its website.

Customers can look forward to further discounts on Black Friday.

6. Aloe Unique

Skincare brand Aloe unique announced that it will be having deals of up to 30% off.

The brand added that for a limited time offer, it will also be giving customers a free Aloe Unique Fashion Bag with their Black Friday purchase.

The promo is exclusive to their online store and only available to the FIRST 25 customers. Get your hands on this bag, before they're gone.

7. Coco Safar

This local bakery announced that it will be creating a decadent Croissant inspired by Black Friday.

A beautifully hand-crafted Black Charcoal Croissant with a creamy maple cheesecake filling, dipped in caramel chocolate and finished with roasted pecan nuts.

Limited quantities are available at the bakery counter this Black Friday weekend only (26 - 28 Nov).

8. Sorbet

Sorbet announced that it will be having a sale exclusively for loyalty members. Deals are valid from 25 November - 27 November.

25 Nov is exclusive to loyalty members and 26-27 Nov is open to all guests.

10. Pet Heaven

Pet Heaven will have multiple deals but one that they have shared so far is that customers can look forward to 30% off Hills pet food - Exclusive to Pet Heaven this Black Friday season.
