Mercedes-Benz wins SA Car of the year award

CAPE TOWN – Autotrader held its annual AutoTrader SA Car of the Year awards at an event at Shepstone Gardens in Gauteng.

Mercedes-Benz emerged as the overall winner in this year’s competition, with the new A-Class walking away with the title of the 2019 car of the year award.

The Porsche Cayenne placed in second, while the Volvo XC40 came in third-place.

Winners are chosen after the finalists were announced at the end of November 2018, then jurors were all given the opportunity to test drive the cars.
