Okja, the plant-based food brand launches a new Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

Okja, SA's plant-based food and beverage brand, has launched a Chocolate Hazelnut Spread.

The company noted that unlike other common chocolate-hazelnut spreads on shelves that contain palm oil, its new product contains none of it and also has no dairy or flavourings.

The spread can be smeared on one's favourite bread or breakfast pastry, or simply scooped out of the jar by the spoonful for an indulgent treat.

Okja Chocolate Hazelnut Spread is available from Takealot, selected Spar stores, Faithful to Nature, as well as popular delis such as Giovannis. It retails for between R69.99 and R74.99, it is also available from the new Okja café in Camps Bay.

The brand, launched in 2019 by founders, Rui Esteves and David Chait, is known for its iconic range of oat milks in bright and bold packaging.
