Vans Skateboarding and Quasi unveil new collection

Vans, the original action sports footwear and apparel brand, is proud to announce a new collection with Quasi, elevating shared team riders and Vans Skateboarding’s iconic styles, including the Crockett High Decon and the Skate Old Skool.

Founded by Chad Bowers in Dayton, Ohio, Quasi was immediately adopted by the most authentic parts of skateboarding globally — with the best graphics and a team of some of the most creative skateboarders like shared Vans Skate team riders Gilbert Crockett and Dick Rizzo, Quasi has built a beautiful place for itself in skateboarding.

Vans Skateboarding and Quasi’s partnership is natural; both brands have helped create and define skating by being true to their ethos and spirit.

Leading with the Skate Old Skool (Hairy suede and washed heavy canvas uppers with tonal Quasi embroidery) in Asphalt and the Crockett High Decon (Minimal, deconstructed all canvas version of Gilbert's High-top shoe, relying only on stitch details, internal reinforcements, and duracap to provide durability and longevity) in White, the Vans x Quasi Collection is defined by restrained minimalism while maintaining a unique flair.

Minimal branding and refined colors help keep the collection wearable while simultaneously speaking to the aesthetic influence of both brands. The footwear is accompanied by a custom Vans Skateboarding x Quasi shoe box.

Sourced from the minds of some of the most creative skateboarders on the planet, original artwork comes to life across a Quasi Fatigue Pant, Quasi Mask SS Tee, Skate Gym-Q (A new footwear style, based on an old obscure 80's Vans style that Quasi wanted, the addition of the crescent rubber toe cap was driven by Gilbert Crockett), Quasi Hocus Pocus SS Tee and Quasi Window Elastic Waist Short.

The Vans Skateboarding x Quasi collection is available now at select Vans Skateboarding retail locations and at Vans.co.za/skate.
