Xbox Reveals Affordable Black Friday Deals in South Africa

Get ready, South African gamers! Xbox has officially unveiled its Black Friday deals, and the wait has been worthwhile.

Xbox has all the usual goods on sale, covering everything from consoles and accessories to subscriptions and gift cards.

The only thing missing from the discount party is a selection of physical games. So, if you're eyeing a game to go with your new console, you might have to wait for Xbox's own Black Friday sale on the Microsoft store.

Ian Hepplewhite, the CEO of Prima Interactive – Xbox’s distributor in South Africa, expressed gratitude to the gaming community and introduced exclusive Black Friday deals as a thank-you gesture.

"We’re thrilled to bring these exclusive Black Friday deals to our gaming community in South Africa. This is our way of expressing gratitude for the incredible support we’ve received," said Hepplewhite.

Whether you're getting into next-gen gaming with the Xbox Series S or going all out with the Xbox Series X, these deals are here to improve your gaming experience.

What's on Offer:

Great Deals on Consoles:

If you're ready for a next-gen console, you're in luck. Prima is cutting R2,000 off the price of the standalone Xbox Series X (1TB), making it a cool R12,000. But the real steal is in the bundles – Xbox Series X (1TB) with games like Diablo IV or Forza Horizon 5, all for R12,000.

That's the same price as the standalone console without any games. Quite a deal, right?

Here's a quick look at the console deals:

  • Xbox Series X 1TB + Diablo IV – R12,000 (saving R3,400)
  • Xbox Series X 1TB + Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition – R12,000 (saving R3,600)
  • Xbox Series S 512GB Standalone – R6,700 (saving R900)
  • Xbox Series S 512GB Starter Bundle + 3-months Game Pass Ultimate – R6,700 (saving R1,290)

More Savings on Accessories:

Xbox is not just about consoles. There are big discounts on premium accessories like the Xbox Elite v2 Controller and the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 in Core White, Core Blue/Red. And if you're into digital goodies, the R500 Xbox Gift Card is now just R450.

When and Where:

These awesome deals are up for grabs from November 20 to 27, 2023, in-store at your usual retailers or online at Nexus Hub. So, if you've been holding onto your old Xbox One, this might be the perfect time to upgrade and dive into the next level of gaming with Xbox's Black Friday savings.
