The Crazy Store joins forces with Reach For A Dream Foundation

Slipper Day is more than just an opportunity to wear slippers; it’s a time for South Africans to unite in the spirit of hope, unity, and compassion. On this day, people swap their regular shoes for slippers in exchange for a donation. All proceeds go towards helping brave young children battling life-threatening illnesses through the Reach For A Dream Foundation.

While The Crazy Store has a longstanding relationship with Reach For A Dream, having frequently donated helium balloons to support their various dream-fulfilling events, this year marked a new chapter: its first official involvement in Slipper Day. The Crazy Store has decided to join the national initiative with enthusiasm and heart, rallying you, loyal customers and dedicated staff alike to support this meaningful cause. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity and participation of communities nationwide, including every single customer who bought a sticker, wore their slippers, or shared a smile. The Crazy Store is thrilled to share that they raised R532 615 and 26 654 Slipper Day stickers were sold through their stores.

“We are absolutely thrilled with the incredible support we received from every single customer that has purchased a sticker. We are proud to have raised such a significant amount for the Reach For A Dream Foundation.” says Kevin Lennett, Managing Director at The Crazy Store. “This is just the beginning, and we look forward to building on this partnership in the years to come,” Lennett concludes.
