Danone unveils new protein-powered yoghurt

Multinational food-products company Danone has launched DanPro, a protein-powered yoghurt and drinking yoghurt range designed for customers who live active lifestyles.

DanPro contains no artificial sweeteners and is available in low or medium fat and has 9 essential amino acids, which help to build muscle and aid recovery.

The drinking product which is a 300ml will cost R21.99 is available in flavours Strawberry, Banana and Vanilla.

The yoghurt which is 150g product will cost R13.99 is available in Peach & Mango, Blueberry, Vanilla, Strawberry and Plain.

Danone also stated that the product is supported by the Sports Science Institute of South Africa as it has more protein than other yoghurts.

DanPro is available in stores from 8 July at all leading grocery stores and convenience outlets.
