Massmart takes home fitness to the next level with Trojan Pro Series

After more than 40 years in the market, Massmart’s health and fitness brand, Trojan, has launched its new Pro Series – extending Africa’s leading home fitness brand into the premium fitness market.

Launched online and in selected Makro stores recently, the Trojan Pro Series offers health enthusiasts a full range of high-end fitness equipment including an elliptical trainer, a spinning bike, a multi-function smith machine and a free-runner treadmill.

“The existing Trojan range that has been built over the years has served customers well at extremely competitive prices,” said Garreth Prout, Makro Sports and Health Equipment Buyer.

“Through our ongoing research we identified the need for a premium offering and the Pro Series now gives customers the option to upgrade to products with equivalent power motors to those found in commercial gyms, and additional tech features to take their training to the next level in 2023.”

As a result of these additional features, the Pro Series has immediately attracted interest from local guest lodges and medical professionals like physiotherapists and biokinetics.

The Pro Series treadmills and bikes are also Bluetooth-enabled and compatible with popular fitness apps like Zwift and Kinomap.

Customers looking for an all-in-one solution should try the multi-function smith machine in the range which offers over 85 exercise options and qualifies for free delivery and installation. If load shedding is interrupting your training programme, then you should consider the free-runner treadmill, currently on promotion for R17,999, which doesn’t require any electricity.
