See the retailers opening up Black November this week [Week 1]

Black Friday, the annual shopping highlight on the retail calendar, will be happening on 26 November. It also marks the start of the festive season shopping period, which provides an opportunity for shoppers to buy household, electronic and audio items at great prices.

Some South African retailers have decided to start as earliest as 1 November to start having specials, calling it Black November. 

Here is a list of retailers that have started having specials:

1. Game 

Game has launched its month-long Black November promotion, which will run between 1 and 30 November. The retailer will launch brand new deals each week for four weeks. 

These deals launch in-store and online as of midnight and will only be valid for the week in which they are launched and will not be available again.

2. Makro 

Makro announced that it will launch its Black Friday Extended deals from 1 – 28 November with new deals every week for 4 weeks.

Makro Black Friday Extended is one of the most anticipated shopping events in South Africa and Makro customers can look forward to ground-breaking deals throughout November.

Once again, Makro aims to please their customers with 4-weeks of Black Friday promotions which allows sufficient time to browse and shop in-store or online.

3. Decofurn

South African furniture store and brand Decofurn announced that it is having a pre-Black Friday sale while stocks last.

The company stated that customers can look forward to deals of up to 20% off on over 100 items.

4. Amazon 

US online shopping giant Amazon has announced early Black Friday deals in October already, giving customers the opportunity to start shopping and saving big heading into the holiday season.

The company is offering up to 40% on most items and offers direct shipping and delivery to South Africa on many of its products.

5. Street Fever 

Street announced that it would be turning Black Friday into Black November with deals available from the 1st to 30th November 2021 in-store and online. 

Deals will only be valid on selected styles only and stock may vary from store to store.

6. Dial-a-Bed 

Dial-a-Bed announced that it will be having Black November deals.

The company is having thousands of beds on sale and customers can shop the deals at 66 stores nationwide or online.

7. Incredible Connection 

Incredible Connection announced that they’ve made the entire month of November, More’vember, so that customers can get more value, more freebies, and more services on selected products all month.

Customers can look forward to free device setup, free accessories on selected products, free memory upgrades, free warranties, free health checks on devices, and so much more.

8. Takealot 

Takealot has announced that its annual Blue Dot Sale, the company's Black Friday sale will be returning this year. 

It announced that it will offer weekly deals ahead of Black Friday on 26 November, starting the 1st of November until the 25 November, Takealot will release “tens of thousands” of countdown deals before the official five-day Blue Dot Sale begins.

9. LG

LG Electronics has just announced that it will be having Black November specials giving South Africans more to celebrate with a month filled with massive savings on some of the brand’s most loved products.
