Facebook "clear history" feature to be delayed

CAPE TOWN – Facebook reportedly only going to release its “clear history” tool between September and November this year.
This is according to a report by Engadget, which stated that Facebook VP of integrity Guy Rosen said the reason for the delay is that Facebook wants to release a comprehensive and thorough product.
First unveiled at the social media giant's F8 conference in May 2018, the tool will allow users to clear information about themselves on their Facebook account.
Rosen told Engadget: "We’re working to re-engineer our systems, and how we process that data so that we can do it right,” said Rosen. “That’s why it’s taking more time than anticipated.”
However, when it was revealed the company did not confirm an official release date for the feature.
