Foschini forms collab with Burgundy Fly in an effort to help grow SA-fashion brands

Foschini announced that is has collaborated with a local brand called Burgundy Fly, in an effort to grow awareness for South African fashion brands.

The collaboration was formed after Burgundy Fly was forced to close its Rosebank store earlier this year, so Foschini reached out to help the business to extend its reach while adding to the SA-made fashion choices for Foschini customers.

Burgundy Fly said in a Facebook post: "TFG has a local and international presence but in Africa, the common attribute between Foschini and Burgundy Fly is that the products are crafted their locally for quick response on manufacturing. This has a positive impact on the CMT industry."

The company added in another post: "Burgundy Fly and Foschini's cooperate relationship is based on a mutual goal to ensure that local brands are provided a platform for increased awareness. We’re hoping for productivity growth to increase within the local industry which will result in the expansion of supply and demand which should ultimately contribute to increased revenue thus drive economic growth within the country."

Burgundy Fly fashion is now available at the Sandton City Foschini store.
