iRobot smart vacuums are now available to be purchased in South Africa

iRobot, a robotics company that creates consumer robots announced that their Roomba smart vacuums and Braava range of robot mops, are now officially available in South Africa.

The Core Group in South Africa made the announcement as the group is now the exclusive distributor for iRobot locally.

“We are delighted to bring the iRobot brand to South Africa,” iRobot’s General Manager of EMEA, Stefan Bernard, said in a statement.

“Working together with Core Group, our exclusive distributor in South Africa, we look forward to establishing the brand and delighting consumers with our leading range of Roomba robot vacuums and Braava robot mops.”

“The launch of iRobot in the country will enable South Africans to enjoy the many benefits robotic cleaners provide, letting them focus on what’s most important to them", said ?Core Group said in a statement.

Core Group noted that the iRobot products that are now available locally include the Roomba s9+, Roomba i7 and i7+, Roomba i3 and i3+, and Roomba 698. The site also sells the Braava Jet M6 Robot Mop.

Roomba robot vacuums and Braava robot mops will be available to pruchase via iRobot.co.za website or customers can buy them at Takealot and the iStore.

When purchasing any of the devices,  a two-year warranty will be included with it. 

Roomba model prices range from R4 999 to R24 999 and the Braava Jet M6 Robot Mop has a price of R10 999.

The site also sells a series of accessories and replacement parts and it has a section for repair and maintenance.
