Makro needs 250 kids to rate the best toys for 2023

Makro is once again calling for little helpers to assist with the brand’s super-serious mission to find the best toys in town at their ‘Top Rated by Kids event, set to once again be held at Makro Riversands Saturday, 15 July 2023!

“We are on the search for the best people to give advice on toys – kids! We’re calling South African kids to be part of Makro’s Top-Rated by Kids campaign task team that will help us put the coolest not-yet-released toys to the ultimate test,” said Katherine Madley, Vice President of Group Marketing.

“We have had great success in hosting this event in previous years and while it is a fun experience for them, it provides us with the real insights we need from kids on what toys to choose for them.”

A select group of 250 lucky kids between the ages of 6 and 12 will get the chance to rate, test and play with never-seen-before toys in South Africa.

Based on the ratings provided by the children on the day, Makro will announce the top 10 toys in an official awards ceremony and simultaneously release the official Makro Toy guide ahead of the festive season period.

So, does your child love trying out new toys, and would pretty much do it professionally if they could? Then this is the opportunity to treat them to a taste of their dream job.
