Microsoft launches its own smart wireless earbuds

Microsoft announced that it has launched its own smart, wireless earbuds called Surface Earbuds. 

The Earbuds are designed to fit perfectly in the ear with four anchor points that come with three sets of interchangeable silicone eartips. 

It can be paired with Android smartphones via Bluetooth and users will be able to play music with touch and voice prompts controlling things such as play, pause, skip and volume adjusting.

Other compatible devices include; Windows 10, Android 4.4, iPhone 5, iOS9, Bluetooth 4.1/4.2. 

Users will also have access to their Outlook calendar and can have live interaction with Powerpoint.

Microsoft noted that the earbuds will allow users to have access to their Outlook accounts and have emails dictated to them, as well as dictating replies.

 The Earbuds feature up to 24 hours of battery life, 8 hours per single charge, with additional charges in the case — you’re free to listen and get productive anywhere, any time.

In terms of pricing, the Earbuds will cost a recommended $249 Stateside and will be made available later this year.

Microsoft added that it will come with a 1-year warranty, 30-day return policy, 90 days of free technical phone support, 12 months in-store support and technical assistance.
