See how much the new Nintendo Switch OLED will cost you in South Africa

Nintendo's local distributor in South Africa announced that pre-orders are now open for the latest version of the portable device.

The new Nintendo Switch – OLED Model is the newest addition to the Nintendo Switch family of consoles.

It includes a 7-inch vibrant OLED screen, a wide adjustable stand for tabletop mode, a new dock with a wired LAN port for use in TV mode, 64 GB of internal storage, and enhanced audio for handheld and tabletop play. Just like Nintendo Switch, play on a TV, share the detachable Joy-Con controllers for multiplayer fun or take the console on the go to enjoy its play-anywhere versatility.

It comes in two colours: the traditional Red & Blue version and a new White version.

The pre-order listing has revealed that the local price for the device will be R7 999.

The Nintendo Switch OLED model is set to launch in South Africa on 8 October.
