Microsoft Word reaches 1 billion downloads on Google Play

Microsoft Word has reportedly reached one billion downloads on Google Play,.
This is according to a report by Android Police which stated that pre-installed versions of the app on some smartphones could contribute to the large number.
The report further stated that compared to other apps Word is most popular. Spreadsheet app Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and OneDrive each have more than 500 million installs, while email client Outlook for Android has more than 100 million installs.
Microsoft Word is free to download on the Play Store.
